There’s a lot more pressure on freelance blog writers than most people know. On Saturday, I got called out by Rick at our tailgate for not having my FAU blog posted. When I tried to explain that I did the collage but my job didn’t allow me the time to write it, he didn’t seem to be satisfied, so in the spirit of returning to campus for Homecoming, I am giving myself a failing grade for last week (crap, I should have submitted a withdrawal form). As I note in No. 3 below, I didn’t have my finest hour on Twitter this past week either; so I guess I earned another failing grade this past weekend. Still I had a great time in Huntington, and here are the Ten Things I Think I Know After the Lean Green (and FAU):
This season has gone fast. This season is also been a big head scratcher for me on attendance and fan reactions to close wins. We had a great win on Friday, I probably should focus more of my ten things on appreciating the contributions of all the players, but the Attendance issue has been the focus of most of my travel time thoughts. Anyway, as the collage shows, I started out my day on Friday helping my buddy empty the waste system of the RV. I then jammed as much of my favorite Huntington experiences into two days as I could. Yes, this is another theme blog. I hope it comes off better than the WWII analogy one last year (I am so sorry about that one).
